Hey there!
Many of you have already seen this before. I'm reposting our mini dry bar makeover because I'm linking up to Sarah's January Before & After party, which you should too!
Since I have nothing really on the go right now, I'm using a makeover project I did in the summer. However, all of these photos are new.
I set up the bar in an area right off the kitchen. The glossy orange mirror was already there. So were a collection of blue and white pottery in the hutch below.

I took a never used tray that used to look like this:
...and turned it into a functional tray in the colours to compliment the mirror and my collection below it:
I painted the tray three shiny coats of Behr's Wickford Bay, in semi-gloss, that I bought from Home Depot. The tray already came with a piece of glass fitted for the base. I adhered blue, white, and orange
scrapbook paper using scrapbook tape, but the glass also helps prevent the papers from shifting. The scrapbook sheets were purchased as singles from Michaels, and cost me anywhere from 50 cents to a dollar
each.
I'm really happy with this tray. I took something hiding in a cupboard and turned it into a functional bar area that looks like it always belonged there. What do you think?!
I linked this project up to:

Woo - the tray looks super lovely and complements that space wonderfully! And that red mirror! I have to admit, I'm quite smitten with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel! :)
